My background:

As Director, Corporate & Foundation Relations at Dunleavy & Associates, I implemented successful fundraising strategies and guided nonprofit leaders to secure significant first-time gifts.

During my ten years as Executive Director, Corporate Underwriting at WHYY, I led a team of professionals to exceed annual revenue goals, both on-air and online. In addition to increasing support each year for WHYY premier programming including Fresh Air with Terry Gross, I secured corporate funding for WHYY educational outreach programs and had oversight for WHYY’s annual fundraising event.

Prior to my work in the nonprofit sector, I was Advertising Sales Manager at Philadelphia Magazine and Account Supervisor at Ketchum Advertising/Philadelphia. I began my career in advertising at Ted Bates and Grey Advertising in New York.

Education and Affiliations:

I earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania and am a graduate of LEADERSHIP Philadelphia, the region’s premier leadership development program. I’m also a Standards for Excellence PA Licensed Consultant through the Pennsylvania Association for Nonprofit Organizations (PANO) and am registered as fundraising counsel with the Pennsylvania Bureau of Charitable Organizations.
